Piano Lessons at Kleisler Music Studio
These classes are scheduled five times during the music school year for school age students and they last for two to three hours. The classes are in lieu of the private piano lesson for the week that they are scheduled. The purpose of these classes is to provide students with a more well-rounded music education, to have comradeship with other students, to help them prepare for upcoming performance, and to have fun. The dates are listed on the Kleisler Music School Year Calendar which is handed out in September.
Activities in these classes include:
- Listening to music
- Learning about composers
- Written theory work
- Ear Training
- Rhythm activities
- Music games
- Ensemble playing
The activities and length of the classes are dependent on the age and experience of the students in the class.
